What you are buying

Aura Pro is a one-time licence for Aura edition 1. It is not a subscription, and it does not include a promise of future updates, new editions, or ongoing support. Nothing renews and nothing is charged again.

How the licence may be used

The licence is for one person — you — on the Macs you personally use. Your activation file works offline and is not tied to a server, so you can reinstall Aura or move to a replacement Mac without asking anyone. Please do not publish, resell, or share your activation file; it is the equivalent of the serial number for your copy.

The seven-day trial

Aura runs with all on-device features for seven days from your first session, so you can judge it before paying. Optional partner email delivery requires a Pro licence; in-person Anchor setup is included in the trial. When the trial ends, Pro features stop and the app tells you plainly; nothing is charged automatically and no card is held.

What Aura does not guarantee

Aura is a focus aid, not a security product. Its protections — Website Watch, Hard Block, Locked sessions, and Anchor — are designed to interrupt habit and make drifting deliberate rather than automatic. They are not claimed to be unbypassable, and a determined person with administrator access to their own Mac can work around any of them. Anchor slows repeated wrong codes with an increasing delay and keeps a count of wrong attempts for your Anchor to see; it is an accountability tool between two people, not a security lock. Hard Block edits the system hosts file for the domains you list and requires an administrator prompt. Anchor protects Aura's normal end and quit paths, but it cannot prevent a macOS force-quit.

Aura is provided as-is. To the extent the law where you live allows it, the seller is not liable for lost work, missed deadlines, or other indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the app, and any liability that cannot be excluded is limited to the amount you paid for the licence. Nothing here removes rights you have as a consumer that cannot be waived by agreement.

Your responsibilities

Keep your activation file somewhere you can find it again — it is how you unlock a reinstall or a new Mac. Use Aura on hardware you own or are permitted to configure; Hard Block changes a system file and should not be used on a machine you do not administer.
